I’m curious to see if it even comes up.

your used car department (if not pompous elite acting assholes) should have CarFax.

Typical used car department. Ah but when they need help with something, they become little angels

What is that

That seems impressively stupid. Isn’t a subscription obscenely cheaper than individual checks? Or do people not ask for carfaxes often?

They all have the annual subscription, that’s why i’m positive if Ben asks them, they’ll say something like that to him because they are apocalyptic A holes that don’t feel like looking something up. The dealership charges out thousands everyday in service and parts, what is a couple dollars for a CarFax check if they actually don’t have the $30 or $40 subscription.
Every dealer i’ve worked at, the used car/trade in department are all typical used car salesmen A holes but at the Major League level.
We were given a fresh deck of employees here 2 years ago after they fired all those buttholes. I personally invoiced the CarFax subscription to the accounting people here. Months later when looking to buy my Moose and Zapatito, I asked if they could do a quick CarFax check..... “uuuuhhh, I mean we could do that but you see, they charge us for every search so you’ll have to get approval from the general manager....” i remember just turning around and walking away

It seems it’s a GDM E91 320d Touring built 1/23/2012. A little confusion is understandable lol, they factory-deleted the model designation on the back
This info is not from Carfax, though; the motivation to pay the CF boys just wasn’t there

Apologies for back-to-back multiposting but it looks like a very cool and nicely -optioned Touring. If one were in Germany, anyway...where and how did it become available for a windshield VIN pic??

That is most definitely *not* what CarFax has it listed as.

My senior year at SU the campus cops bought a bunch of these dumb things. Or whatever the version in 2006 was. On graduation weekend I woke up hungover as hell to a huge amount of laughter from the frat house next door. A couple of drunk dudes there had somehow stolen one and were tearing up and down the one-block hill we loved on as fast as possible. It was all fun and games until it ran out of battery about 10 minutes later and then they started arguing about how the hell they were going to get the now-immobile GEM back to where they took it from without anyone noticing. I went back to bed. This had been story time with Trail of Gaskets.
